The NT/COM API is implemented as a set of COM objects.

The Network layer object implements the data transfer between the server and the client. There may be several classes of this object for different types of communication.

The Transport layer consists of a set of objects that implements the transport layer in the SIXP protocol.

The OLE DB Provider implements part of the application layer and is a convenient way to access data stored in the table format.

Please note that the requirement to use alertable states has been removed in version 1.0 b3 of the network layer implementation for tcp/ip.
